Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 1.72% or 2.10 points to trade at 124.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa) added 0.60% or 0.8 points to end at 134.2 and TeliaSonera AB (ST:TLSN) was up 0.50% or 0.25 points to 50.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which fell 8.56% or 16.3 points to trade at 174.2 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 4.74% or 4.40 points to end at 88.45 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs) was down 4.01% or 8.7 points to 208.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 269 to 164 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.43% or 1.29 to $51.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.99% or 1.17 to hit $57.52 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.78% or 9.00 to trade at $1144.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.30% to 9.3247, while USD/SEK rose 0.13% to 8.5065.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.45% at 97.25.
