At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index rose 0.25%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were mixed. The TSX Venture declined 0.18%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.24%.

- B2Gold (TSX:BTO): Rose 4.87% or 0.21 points to 4.52
- Russel Metals Inc . (TSX:RUS): Rose 4.60% or 1.73 points to 39.36
- Ballard (TSX:BLDP): Declined 4.53% or 0.11 points to 2.32
- Kinross Gold (TSX:K): Dropped 2.92% or 0.39 points to 12.97
- NFI Group (TSX:NFI): Fell 2.74% or 0.51 points to 18.10
In Commodities Trading:
- November Brent Oil Contract increased by 1.97% or 1.41 points to 73.02 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for November delivery climbed 1.52 points to 69.27 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for December delivery rose 0.50 points to 2,611.20 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is trading at 1.3592.
- EUR/CAD is at 1.51.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 100.390.
