(Reuters) - Stock futures pointed to a lower open for Canada's main equity index on Tuesday, as oil prices slipped on lingering concerns over the impact of the coronavirus outbreak in China on oil demand.
March futures on the S&P/TSX index were down 0.27% at 7:00 a.m. ET.
Manufacturing sales data is due at 08:30 a.m. ET
The Toronto Stock Exchange's TSX closed 0.15% higher at 17,848.36 on Friday.
Dow Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures were down 0.6% at 7:05 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures were down 0.45% and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures were down 0.72%. (N)
