The company was formerly known as Kota Bayu Ekuiti Berhad and changed its name to Icon Offshore Berhad in October 2012. The company was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Icon Offshore Berhad is a subsidiary of Hallmark Odyssey Sdn. Bhd. As of March 26, 2024, Icon Offshore Berhad operates as a subsidiary of Liannex Corporation Sdn. Bhd..
