The European community could consider providing support to Meyer Burger Technology to remain a producer of solar modules in Europe. The company has developed pioneering energy-saving technology that could be very profitable. Meyer Burger Technology uses a more efficient manufacturing process that reduces energy consumption by 30%. This could reduce the company's manufacturing costs and make it more competitive. If Meyer Burger Technology keeps the German factory, it could use it to manufacture solar modules using its energy-saving technology. The company could export these solar modules around the world, including the United States.
