Investing.com - Core retail sales in Canada rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Friday.
In a report, Statistics Canada said that Canadian core retail sales rose to a seasonally adjusted 0.2%, from 1.3% in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 1.2%.
Analysts had expected Canadian core retail sales to fall -0.5% last month.
