Investing.com - Unit labor costs in the U.S. rose unexpectedly in the last quarter, official data showed on Wednesday.
In a report, Bureau of Labor Statistics said that U.S. unit labor costs rose to a seasonally adjusted 4.1%, from 2.7% in the preceding quarter whose figure was revised down from 3.3%.
Analysts had expected U.S. unit labor costs to remain unchanged at 3.3% in the last quarter.
