WARSAW, June 29 (Reuters) - Second richest Pole, Zygmunt
Solorz-Zak is interested in selling a stake at its utility ZE
PAK ZEEP.WA in exchange for a stake in stare-run energy firm
Enea ENAE.WA , Poland's treasury minister Dawid Jackiewicz said
on Wednesday.
"I know that such interest from Mr. Solorz was expressed,"
Jackiewicz told reporters.
"ZE PAK gives 7-8 percent of our country's electricity
output, so one cannot underestimate this issue. On the other
hand, I don't know how doable it is. Energy minister has to say
whether there is a demand for such a deal," he added.
Solorz-Zak secured control over ZE PAK in a 2012
privatization - part of the previous centrist government's
multi-billion zloty plan to divest state assets, which aided the
state budget.
