TORONTO, May 26 (Reuters) - The commodity-linked Canadian dollar strengthened to a two-month high against its U.S. counterpart on Tuesday as steps to reopen the world economy boosted investor sentiment.

U.S. crude CLc1 prices were up 4% at $34.58 a barrel. 9:19 a.m. (1319 GMT), the Canadian dollar CAD=D4 was trading 1.1% higher at 1.3826 to the greenback, or 72.33 U.S. cents.
