* Polish copper miner KGHM KGH.WA jumps 9 pct to its
highest in almost a week after Poland's main opposition party
PiS tweeted it had filed motion to abolish Poland's mining tax.
* State-controlled KGHM, Europe's No.2 copper producer, paid
1.5 billion zlotys ($401 million) in mining tax dues in 2014,
closed last year with net profit of 2.4 billion - its lowest in
a decade on falling metals prices.
* PiS (Law and Justice) leads opinion polls before general
election in October.
