Aug 12 (Reuters) - Futures for Canada's main stock index pointed to a lower opening on Monday, as oil prices dropped amid worries of an economic slowdown and a year-long Sino-U.S. trade tariff tussle.

September futures in the S&P/TSX index SXFc1 were down 0.44%, as of 7:00 a.m. ET.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX .GSPTSE dropped 63.19 points, or 0.39%, to 16,341.34 on Friday. Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures 1YMc1 were down 0.57% at 7:00 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures ESc1 were down 0.54% and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures NQc1 were down 0.55%. .N
