July 30 (Reuters) - Stock futures pointed to a lower opening for Canada's main stock index on Tuesday, matching similar moves in European and U.S. markets as investors battened down the hatches ahead of the conclusion of this week's U.S. Federal Reserve meeting.
September futures on the S&P/TSX index SXFc1 were down 0.21% at 7:00 a.m. ET.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX .GSPTSE fell 38.87 points, or 0.24 percent, to 16,492.17 on Monday. Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures 1YMc1 were down 0.16% at 7:00 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures ESc1 were down 0.25% and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures NQc1 were down 0.44%. .N
