July 31 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index rose on Tuesday, boosted by gains in energy shares and after data showed that the economy's growth in May was the highest in a year.
* At 9:32 a.m. ET (1332 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX Composite index .GSPTSE was up 24.74 points, or 0.15 percent, at 16,370.21.
