June 29 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Friday, helped by a rise in energy shares and data that showed the Canadian economy unexpectedly grew in April.
* At 9:30 a.m. ET (1330 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX Composite index .GSPTSE was up 56.01 points, or 0.35 percent, at 16,235.9.
