Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.74% or 200.0 points to trade at 11700.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 0.83% or 500.0 points to end at 60620.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 0.77% or 120.0 points to 15660.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 4.44% or 120.0 points to trade at 2580.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 3.08% or 35.0 points to end at 1100.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 0.94% or 6.0 points to 631.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.17% or 0.25 to $146.27 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.65% or 13.50 to hit $2062.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.55 to trade at $1218.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.98% to 2851.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.85% to 914.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 99.82.
