Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.32% or 110.0 points to trade at 8420.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 1.13% or 340.0 points to end at 30440.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 1.12% or 300.0 points to 27000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 1.91% or 50.0 points to trade at 2570.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 1.61% or 240.0 points to end at 14660.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 1.40% or 14.0 points to 984.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 14 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.19% or 0.25 to $132.27 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 2.68% or 48.50 to hit $1856.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.99% or 12.71 to trade at $1264.79 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.08% to 2902.01, while BRL/COP rose 0.23% to 920.48.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 98.65.
