Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Public Services, Services and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.84%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 8.04% or 45.0 points to trade at 605.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 3.08% or 0.6 points to end at 20.1 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 3.06% or 340.0 points to 11440.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which lost 3.31% or 2040.0 points to trade at 59580.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 0.70% or 100.0 points to end at 14200.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 0.19% or 20.0 points to 10380.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 22 to 7 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 3.70% or 5.58 to $145.12 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.34% or 8.00 to hit $2390.00 , while the February Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1173.05 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.02% to 3074.00, while BRL/COP fell 2.47% to 886.03.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.49% at 101.13.
