Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which rose 2.23% or 740.0 points to trade at 33940.0 at the close. Etb (CN:ETB) added 1.92% or 6.0 points to end at 319.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 1.53% or 140.0 points to 9300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 5.16% or 330.0 points to trade at 6070.0 in late trade. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 2.45% or 340.0 points to end at 13560.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 2.08% or 85.0 points to 3995.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 6 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.41% or 1.60 to $111.70 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.99% or 21.00 to hit $2095.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 5.40 to trade at $1196.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.14% to 3095.25, while BRL/COP fell 0.28% to 822.59.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 95.21.
