Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Services, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 0.93% or 100.0 points to trade at 10860.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 0.75% or 140.0 points to end at 18900.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 0.47% or 40.0 points to 8640.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 1.73% or 0.4 points to trade at 22.7 in late trade. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) declined 1.45% or 400.0 points to end at 27200.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) shed 1.32% or 15.0 points to 1125.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 12 and 8 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.61% or 0.86 to $140.62 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.42% or 27.50 to hit $1907.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.92% or 11.25 to trade at $1214.25 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.07% to 2973.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.70% to 953.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 101.81.
