Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.08% or 30.0 points to trade at 2810.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 0.90% or 520.0 points to end at 58500.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was up 0.88% or 340.0 points to 38780.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which lost 4.14% or 1220.0 points to trade at 28280.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.71% or 11.0 points to end at 633.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 1.10% or 15.0 points to 1345.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 11 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.57% or 0.85 to $149.12 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 2.02% or 41.50 to hit $2010.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.25 to trade at $1236.35 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.48% to 2890.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.02% to 931.43.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 100.93.
