Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 0.68% or 80.0 points to trade at 11760.0 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 0.51% or 140.0 points to end at 27740.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) was up 0.41% or 5.0 points to 1210.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which lost 1.94% or 90.0 points to trade at 4560.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 1.68% or 360.0 points to end at 21040.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 1.52% or 15.0 points to 973.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 6 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.61% or 0.80 to $132.02 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 6.04% or 115.50 to hit $2029.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 5.51 to trade at $1262.59 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.28% to 2919.59, while BRL/COP rose 0.23% to 895.66.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 97.20.
