Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 1.84% or 180.0 points to trade at 9940.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 2.47% or 600.0 points to end at 24880.0 and Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 1.23% or 480.0 points to 39380.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which fell 3.64% or 520.0 points to trade at 13780.0 at the close. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) declined 2.92% or 190.0 points to end at 6310.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 2.31% or 40.0 points to 1690.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 13.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.19% or 1.43 to $118.45 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.03% or 1.00 to hit $3134.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1164.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.15% to 2908.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.91% to 749.69.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.82% at 97.22.
