Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 3.44% or 260.0 points to trade at 7810.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 2.28% or 580.0 points to end at 26000.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.41% or 380.0 points to 27280.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which fell 1.34% or 300.0 points to trade at 22140.0 at the close. Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) declined 0.90% or 15.0 points to end at 1645.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) was down 0.80% or 10.0 points to 1240.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 11.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 2.93% or 3.67 to $121.85 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.60% or 19.50 to hit $3256.50 , while the August Gold contract fell 0.28% or 3.10 to trade at $1088.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 2.28% to 2727.00, while BRL/COP fell 4.53% to 827.19.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.37% at 97.26.
