Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.37%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 3.85% or 600.0 points to trade at 16200.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 3.24% or 50.0 points to end at 1595.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 3.13% or 720.0 points to 23700.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 1.54% or 35.0 points to trade at 2240.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 1.52% or 180.0 points to end at 11640.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) was down 0.59% or 10.0 points to 1690.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 22 to 7 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) fell to all time lows; down 1.54% or 35.0 to 2240.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.14% or 0.17 to $124.35 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.19% or 36.50 to hit $3110.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.40 to trade at $1134.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 2.77% to 3075.55, while BRL/COP fell 3.89% to 848.71.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 95.97.
