April 5 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1400 GMT on Monday:
** Malaysia's state oil company Petronas PETR.UL signed an agreement with Brunei to jointly develop two offshore oilfields. Greece launched a tender for the sale of a majority stake in a port on the island of Crete, a popular tourist destination in Europe. Israel's Delek Drilling DEDRp.TA is in talks to sell its stake in the offshore natural gas field for up to $1.1 billion, financial news website Calcalist reported. Energy infrastructure company Sempra Energy SRE.N said it would sell a 20% stake in its new business platform, Sempra Infrastructure Partners, to investment firm KKR KKR.N for $3.37 billion in cash. Invitae Corp NVTA.N said a group of investors including SoftBank Group Corp 9984.T will invest $1.15 billion in the U.S. genetic diagnostics company. Tribune Publishing Co TPCO.O has received a $680 million takeover offer from Newslight LLC, a bid that trumps an earlier proposal from hedge fund Alden Global Capital for the owner of the Chicago Tribune and the New York Daily News. Oil and gas company Whitecap Resources Inc WCP.TO said it will acquire Kicking Horse Oil & Gas Ltd, a privately-held indirect subsidiary of Quantum Energy Partners, for C$300 million ($239.08 million) in a stock-and-cash deal.
