Proactive Investors - Endeavour Mining Corp (TSX:EDV) has appointed Cathia Lawson-Hall as an independent non-executive director effective today, boosting the number of women on its board to 40%.
Lawson-Hall, who was formerly head of Coverage and Investment Banking for Africa at Société Générale, will also be a member of the remuneration committee, said the FTSE 100 miner.
Highlighting its diversity strategy, Endeavour said that as well as 40% of the board now being women, its senior independent director is a woman and half of the board comes from an ethnic minority background.

She brings considerable strategic and financing experience and significant knowledge of the African business environment. We look forward to welcoming her as an integral member of our board to support the business as it continues to grow.”
