Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Technology and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 1.09% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV), which rose 2.52% or 1.15 points to trade at 46.87 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 1.80% or 0.60 points to end at 33.98 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 1.71% or 0.082 points to 4.883 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1), which lost 1.88% or 0.075 points to trade at 3.920 in late trade. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) added 0.06% or 0.02 points to end at 31.74 and DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) gained 0.22% or 0.0400 points to 18.5700.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 81 to 64 and 20 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was up 0.13% or 0.10 to $76.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $68.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 3.90 to trade at $1217.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.54% to 1.1686, while EUR/GBP rose 0.17% to 0.9060.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 94.64.
