Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Utilities, Oil & Gas and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which rose 2.44% or 0.112 points to trade at 4.693 at the close. DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) added 1.54% or 0.2800 points to end at 18.5200 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 1.18% or 0.40 points to 34.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which lost 2.37% or 0.53 points to trade at 21.87 in late trade. Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) declined 1.62% or 0.59 points to end at 35.90 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) shed 1.13% or 0.44 points to 38.46.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 85 to 60 and 14 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was down 1.59% or 1.27 to $78.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 2.19% or 1.54 to hit $68.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 2.80 to trade at $1208.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.42% to 1.1675, while EUR/GBP fell 0.02% to 0.8909.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 94.62.
