Freshii, Dye & Durham shares make big gains
Freshii Inc (TSX:FRII) shares surged 134% to $2.22 on Monday after the healthy food restaurant chain announced that it has agreed to be acquired by Foodtastic Inc for $2.30 per share in cash, representing a total consideration of about $74.4 million on a fully-diluted basis.
As well, shares of Dye & Durham Limited (TSX:DND) shot up 18% to $14.20 as the provider of cloud-based legal practice management software said it has significantly expanded of its software product offering in Canada with the addition of a comprehensive suite of litigation workflow solutions. Dye & Durham also noted it has bought back about $150.0 million of its common stock following a recent issuer bid.
American Eagle Gold Corp (TSXV:AE), meanwhile, reported that it has completed its 2022 drill program at the NAK Project in west-central British Columbia. The company said it expects to receive assay results for NAK22-03 and NAK22-04 before the year-end and results for holes 05 to 07 in the New Year. American Eagle stock popped 23% to $0.19 following the announcement.
And, Brigadier Gold Limited (TSXV:BRG) shares rose 40% to $0.035, on volume of more than 1.2 million shares, Monday after the junior explorer announced that it has agreed to acquire Quebec lithium assets from a privately-held company in exchange for 35 million Brigadier Gold common shares.
