Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Agriculture, Property and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Indonesian Paradise Property (JK:INPP), which rose 25.00% or 130 points to trade at 650 at the close. Indosat Tbk (JK:ISAT) added 24.65% or 445 points to end at 2250 and Reliance Securities Tbk (JK:RELI) was up 23.49% or 78 points to 410 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Metro Realty Tbk (JK:MTSM), which lost 24.78% or 56 points to trade at 170 in late trade. Jembo Cable Company Tbk (JK:JECC) declined 19.92% or 1325 points to end at 5325 and Asuransi Bina Dana Arta Tbk (JK:ABDA) shed 19.71% or 1375 points to 5600.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 236 to 173 and 135 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.39% or 1.19 to $50.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.03% or 1.19 to hit $59.91 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.10 to trade at $1281.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.11% to 14125.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.22% to 10116.33.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 95.382.
