Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Miscellaneous Industry and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.44% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were LCK Global Kedaton (JK:LCKM), which rose 24.62% or 96 points to trade at 486 at the close. Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food Tbk (JK:AISA) added 24.49% or 121 points to end at 615 and Energi Mega Persada Tbk (JK:ENRG) was up 24.06% or 32 points to 165 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Wicaksana Overseas International (JK:WICO), which lost 9.82% or 54 points to trade at 496 in late trade. Arita Prima Indonesia Tbk (JK:APII) declined 9.55% or 21 points to end at 199 and Majapahit Inti Corpora Tbk PT (JK:AKSI) shed 9.52% or 36 points to 342.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 177 to 176 and 119 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $64.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $69.33 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.79% or 10.60 to trade at $1328.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.04% to 13349.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.65% to 10645.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 90.52.
