Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Consumer Industry and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.77%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:TRUS), which rose 28.57% or 48.00 points to trade at 216.00 at the close. Perdana Bangun Pusaka Tbk PT (JK:KONI) added 20.54% or 46 points to end at 270 and Guna Timur Raya PT (JK:TRUK) was up 20.00% or 135 points to 810 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX), which lost 32.79% or 40 points to trade at 82 in late trade. Skybee Tbk PT (JK:SKYB) declined 20.78% or 64 points to end at 244 and Steady Safe TBK PT (JK:SAFE) shed 17.72% or 28 points to 130.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 198 to 169 and 124 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.34% or 0.25 to $72.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.80% or 0.62 to hit $76.77 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.20 to trade at $1254.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.07% to 14393.8, while AUD/IDR rose 0.23% to 10641.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 94.07.
