Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Auto & components, Telecoms and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 2.65% or 6.3 points to trade at 244.0 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 2.16% or 0.31 points to end at 14.68 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) was up 1.18% or 1.6 points to 137.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which lost 4.97% or 4.25 points to trade at 81.30 in late trade. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) declined 3.54% or 2.20 points to end at 60.00 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) shed 2.86% or 0.22 points to 7.29.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 80 and 29 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.86% or 0.37 to $43.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.59% or 0.27 to hit $46.02 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.94% or 11.87 to trade at $1244.53 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.23% to 9.4814, while USD/NOK rose 0.24% to 8.4680.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 96.96.
