Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Auto & components, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.92%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 4.61% or 0.35 points to trade at 7.95 at the close. Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) added 2.99% or 1.80 points to end at 62.00 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was up 2.69% or 1.35 points to 51.45 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which lost 3.56% or 2.60 points to trade at 70.40 in late trade. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 2.23% or 0.03 points to end at 1.14 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) shed 1.51% or 3.2 points to 209.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 97 to 74 and 24 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.79% or 0.35 to $44.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.79% or 0.37 to hit $47.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.57 to trade at $1212.27 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.54% to 9.4960, while USD/NOK fell 0.44% to 8.3327.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 95.83.
