Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which rose 2.48% or 0.29 points to trade at 11.99 at the close. Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) added 1.99% or 2.6 points to end at 133.0 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 1.24% or 0.01 points to 1.14 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which lost 1.45% or 0.10 points to trade at 6.78 in late trade. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) declined 1.42% or 2.00 points to end at 138.40 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) shed 1.14% or 3.40 points to 294.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 111 to 66 and 20 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.42% or 0.20 to $47.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $50.63 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.65 to trade at $1246.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.20% to 9.1563, while USD/NOK rose 0.28% to 8.4870.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 99.52.
