Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Auto & components, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.71%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 2.17% or 0.02 points to trade at 1.03 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) added 2.00% or 2.60 points to end at 132.60 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was up 0.85% or 0.31 points to 36.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which lost 5.64% or 1.1 points to trade at 17.7 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 5.61% or 1.32 points to end at 22.24 and Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) shed 4.72% or 1.32 points to 26.66.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 118 to 63 and 18 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.22% or 1.57 to $47.13 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.45% or 1.75 to hit $48.93 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1275.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.15% to 9.0676, while USD/NOK fell 0.07% to 8.2605.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 98.36.
