Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Retail, Financial Services and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.84%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which rose 9.97% or 2.32 points to trade at 25.60 at the close. Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) added 6.71% or 0.94 points to end at 14.94 and The Saudi Investment Bank (SE:1030) was up 6.56% or 0.86 points to 13.96 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which lost 9.97% or 4.90 points to trade at 44.25 in late trade. Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) declined 9.40% or 1.66 points to end at 16.00 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) shed 7.72% or 2.85 points to 34.05.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 118 to 50 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.00% or 0.90 to $45.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.64% or 0.78 to hit $48.30 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 7.51 to trade at $1222.21 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.35% to 4.2852, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 95.63.
