Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Financial Services and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.68%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which rose 6.65% or 0.62 points to trade at 9.95 at the close. Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) added 3.22% or 0.76 points to end at 24.34 and Astra Industrial Group (SE:1212) was up 2.26% or 0.43 points to 19.42 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which lost 9.93% or 1.22 points to trade at 11.06 in late trade. Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) declined 5.94% or 0.43 points to end at 6.81 and Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) shed 5.93% or 0.82 points to 13.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 145 to 34 and 6 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.49% or 1.72 to $70.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.50% or 1.87 to hit $76.72 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.70 to trade at $1314.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.10% to 4.4540, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7496.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 92.80.
