Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Hotels & Tourism and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which rose 5.00% or 0.200 points to trade at 4.200 at the close. National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) added 3.17% or 0.75 points to end at 24.40 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) was up 3.10% or 0.45 points to 14.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which lost 5.57% or 1.15 points to trade at 19.50 in late trade. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) declined 4.71% or 1.70 points to end at 34.40 and Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) shed 3.64% or 0.45 points to 11.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 104 to 53 and 21 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.24% or 0.61 to $48.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.97% or 0.50 to hit $51.26 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.55 to trade at $1231.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.12% to 4.0316, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 100.08.
