Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport, Insurance and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 9.77% or 1.50 points to trade at 16.85 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 8.33% or 0.80 points to end at 10.40 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) was up 5.11% or 0.35 points to 7.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010), which lost 9.91% or 8.50 points to trade at 77.25 in late trade. Halwani Bros (SE:6001) declined 6.46% or 4.25 points to end at 61.50 and Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250) shed 5.84% or 0.85 points to 13.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 136 to 26 and 6 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $41.71 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.67% or 0.73 to hit $43.11 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.75% or 9.20 to trade at $1235.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.15% to 4.2313, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.27% at 94.68.
