Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Multi Investment and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.57% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.93% or 2.00 points to trade at 22.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 9.88% or 2.05 points to end at 22.80 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was up 9.58% or 0.80 points to 9.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250), which fell 5.88% or 3.50 points to trade at 56.00 at the close. Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150) declined 5.12% or 1.00 points to end at 18.55 and SABB Takaful (SE:8080) was down 4.91% or 2.00 points to 38.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 133 to 33.
Shares in Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.93% or 2.00 to 22.15.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.66% or 0.30 to $46.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.78% or 0.38 to hit $49.17 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.48% or 5.50 to trade at $1130.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.38% to 4.1158, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7496.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 97.26.
