Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which rose 2.25% or 4.90 points to trade at 222.80 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 1.08% or 0.39 points to end at 36.34 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 0.88% or 0.6 points to 68.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which lost 1.52% or 2.14 points to trade at 138.66 in late trade. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 1.49% or 2.70 points to end at 178.00 and Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) shed 1.12% or 4.2 points to 371.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 425 to 286 and 85 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.44% or 1.18 to $47.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.52% or 0.80 to hit $51.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 1.60 to trade at $1293.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.03% to 9.5122, while USD/SEK fell 0.00% to 8.0586.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 93.17.
