Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Telecoms and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 12.40% or 0.75 points to trade at 6.83 at the close. Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 1.91% or 3.15 points to end at 168.20 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.53% or 3.50 points to 232.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which lost 1.59% or 5.1 points to trade at 315.8 in late trade. Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) declined 1.47% or 5.6 points to end at 375.6 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) shed 1.46% or 1.24 points to 83.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 348 to 272 and 50 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.42% or 0.30 to $71.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.17% or 0.90 to hit $78.02 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1319.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.33% to 10.3011, while USD/SEK rose 0.05% to 8.6024.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 92.24.
