Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.86%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which rose 0.28% or 0.28 points to trade at 98.80 at the close. Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) added 0.18% or 0.30 points to end at 162.70 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 0.05% or 0.1 points to 212.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which lost 3.82% or 9.50 points to trade at 239.40 in late trade. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 3.03% or 5.00 points to end at 160.05 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) shed 2.47% or 4.5 points to 175.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 316 to 314 and 54 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.47% or 0.33 to $69.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.21% or 0.16 to hit $77.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1206.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.22% to 10.6191, while USD/SEK rose 0.40% to 9.1573.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 95.09.
