At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index fell slightly. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were up. The TSX Venture rose 0.21%, while the Smallcap climbed by 0.54%.

- Torex Gold (TSX:TXG): Climbed 7.16% or 1.91 points to 28.57.
- IAMGold (TSX:IMG): Rose 5.62% or 0.35 points to 6.58.
- Tilray (TSX:TLRY): Dropped 6.22% or 0.14 points to 2.11.
- Toronto Dominion Bank (TSX:TD): Fell 6.19% or 5.33 points to 80.76.
- Stella-Jones (TSX:SJ): Declined 1.90% or 1.79 points to 92.25.
In Commodities Trading:
- December Brent Oil Contract climbed by 1.42% or 1.09 points to 77.67 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for November delivery rose 0.96 points to 74.20 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for December delivery increased 19.00 points to 2,645.00 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is over 1.37 at 1.3754 at the time of writing. .
- EUR/CAD is at 1.50.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 102.665.
