Proactive Investors - Visa Inc (NYSE:V) is expected to report higher revenue and profits for the fiscal first quarter of 2024 compared to the year-ago quarter when it reports its latest financials after the stock market closes on Thursday, January 25.
The financial services firm is expected to post a 7.1% increase in revenues from the year-ago quarter’s $7.9 billion to $8.5 billion.
Earnings per share (EPS) is expected to increase by 6.9% from $2.18 to $2.32.
Visa is on track to surpass Wall Street analyst earnings estimates, after topping expectations by 3.4% on average over the last two quarters according to Zacks Consensus Estimate.
Visa shares traded up 0.5% at US$266.61 late on Wednesday morning.
