CIEL Limited, an investment holding company, operates in multiple business sectors in Mauritius, Madagascar, Asia, South Africa, and internationally. It operates in seven segments: Textile, Agro, Property, Hotels and Resorts, Financial, Healthcare, and CIEL. The Textile segment is involved in the manufacture and sale of knitwear, woven, and fine knit products. Its Agro segment produces and sells sugar. The Property segment develops land and properties. Its Hotels and Resorts segment engages in the ownership and management of a portfolio of hotels. This segment also owns and manages properties in Mauritius, a private island, a golf course, and tour operators. The Financial Services segment provides banking, portfolio management, and fiduciary products. Its Healthcare segment operates healthcare facilities comprising hospitals, primary and secondary care clinics, laboratories, c-lab collection centers. CIEL Limited was formerly known as Deep River Investment Limited and changed its name to CIEL Limited in January 2014. The company was founded in 1912 and is headquartered in Ebene, Mauritius.
