Malayan Cement Berhad, an investment holding company, produces, manufactures, and trades in cement, clinker, drymix, ready-mix concrete, and other building materials and related products primarily in Malaysia and Singapore. It also provides accounting shared and management consulting; transportation services; and waste management services in supplying and delivering of alternative fuels and raw materials for use in cement manufacturing activities. The company was formerly known as Lafarge Malaysia Berhad and changed its name to Malayan Cement Berhad in September 2019. Malayan Cement Berhad was incorporated in 1950 and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Malayan Cement Berhad is a subsidiary of YTL Cement Berhad.
