Max Resource Corp. engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in South America and Canada. It primarily explores for silver, copper, and iron deposits. The company holds 100% interest in the Cesar Copper-Silver project which consist of 20 mining concessions located in the northeastern Colombia; and Sierra Azul Copper-Silver project located in Colombia. It also holds a 100% interest in the Florália Hematite Iron Ore Project located near the east the city Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The company was formerly known as Vancan Capital Corp. and changed its name to Max Resource Corp. in May 2004. Max Resource Corp. was incorporated in 1994 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
