Public Joint Stock Company Severstal, together with its subsidiaries, operates as a mining and metallurgical company in Russia. The company operates in two segments, Severstal Resources and Severstal Russian Steel. It offers raw materials, including non-fluxed iron ore pellets and pig irons; and semi-finished products, such as slabs and square billets. The company also provides steel products comprising hot rolled steel, products with a diamond-shaped and lentil-shaped corrugation, and pickled steel; plates and tubes; cold rolled steel; galvanized steel; weather resistant steel; pre-painted galvanized steel; rooftop silk, velvet, cashmere, cashmere matte, and drain; coversafe superproof, bioclean, and classic; electric welded round steel tubes; shaped and special tubes; cold-rolled and multi-faceted sheet piles; line, structural, and building pipes; shells, piles for oil platforms, wind turbine towers, and steel plates for pipes, piles, and wind turbine towers; wire rods, round bars, and grinding balls; reinforcing bars; and angles and channels. It serves the energy, construction, and mechanical engineering industries. The company was formerly known as Open Joint-Stock Company Severstal and changed its name to Public Joint Stock Company Severstal in December 2014. Public Joint Stock Company Severstal was founded in 1955 and is headquartered in Moscow, Russia.
